i was looking for some metal yesterday and found a bunch of 1 and 2" steel tubing that i had forgot about, does anyone have any plans on homemade rock sliders that doesn't require any bending? any help is appreciated

Mine are square stock, no bends. Made two sets. One was out of 0.120 wall, the new ones are 0.25 wall. Both had three 2x2 legs and 2x4 for the slider. I love them over round since my 0.120 round ones were dented to heck after one summer.

I just made my custom rear bumper myself and it has a built in hitch and hooks. It's a BEEF CAKE bumper. Point being i'm going to be making my custom rock sliders within a few wks. I'll be making mine out of oh say.. thick wall steel box measuring 4"x1" or so.. and some square 2" support arms bolted to the frame wtih 1/4" plate C clamp designs and 3/4" grade 8 bolts.

Weld them on and brace the frame.
