What exactly does limited slip do? Compared to a stock?

Stock only one wheel at a time will spin .
Limited slip some times two will spin up front , but itwill be good to the Birfs
Lock the back. spool or D/Locker:D

I've got a limited slip up front and locker in the rear. It's great, not the best traction but its reliable.
