My membership dues have expired, and unfortunately I will not be renewing them. I am going to join a club which is more organized and not strictly Toyota. If I can't find one I will make my own. I loved the vote by the way (which I didn't even hear about until it was done) So Johnny, good luck with YOUR club. Blaze:mad:

Well we are sorry to see you go Rich. This comes as quite a surprise from a person that IS very VOCAL at the meetings but then never puts his words to actions, if he even attends the meetings.
Since you have started the public slamming game, I will respond to your comment.
I have sent you two reminder notices that your membership is expired. Why should everyone else have to pay and not you??? And why should I have to keep shelling out my money for members like you that HAVE NOT RENEWED?
I informed the club that due to it's size, we will be expanding and "voting" in members to take over roles! This way we for sure we can at least one monthly trail run and one monthly meeting. Once again, you were very vocal in YOUR opinions Sir! I have announced on the site and MAILED out AT MY EXPENSE a three page letter with all voting instructions and ballots to ALL members. I have mailed you letters before and I know your address is correct. I sent numerous emails out to everyone as well. YOU NEVER SENT IN YOUR VOTES. It's is too bad becuase you actually received a couple votes yourself but I disqualified people that were not responsible enough to send in their own votes!
Further more, I will say that was mighty KIND of you to NOT show up at the summer BBQ that members went out of their way to make food and make available to us, AND YOU WERE DOWN THE STREET 10 houses at a PARTY. You even acknowledged you observed us there, thanks a lot for YOUR SUPPORT man.......
You know what they say, a person's true colors comes out within time and maybe with this "resistive" attitude you have shown towards the club, it would be best for you not to continue.
In ending, I will say that Rich, in the past you did a very good job with the club and your role in the Primary Children's Hospital Toy Safari was important and needed. I appreciate that and I am sure the kids did too. You were the main player in organizing that, I do not see how you could be so bitter now. What has happened? Sorry to see you have such a bad taste with us now, I can gaurantee that you have met many cool Toyota people as a result of this club, enjoy their friendships now. Take care.

Well lets speak of maturity, even though your second in command IS your best friend and only owned a Toyota for what, under a year you could at least call him Vice President. To all those cool people I have met See ya on the trail. I could go on and on about the things that have pissed me off or made me decide to leave the club but there is no need for a pissing contest. It's been Real, Blaze:)

He was voted for Rich, and not just once, multiple times. Remember I said there was a ballot that everyone received and were instructed to return?
What does it matter how long he has owned a Toyota? It's about responsibility and maturity and he has it! And he has been a avid wheeler for over 16 years as well (for what it's worth). But he, Im sure he will appreciate you slamming him now.
For $25 a year, what more are you expecting Rich? You have met fellow Toyota 4x4 individuals, you have wheeled with them, you have attended events hosted in Moab by Wild Yoats, you have been a part if many different charity events that Wild Yoats has organized, and you have gained insight on building your Toyota from fellow members.
Maybe I have the wrong idea of what a club should be, but that sounds awfully darn good for an 4x4 organization to me. Sorry I could not offer a seven-course meal at every meeting for all the members.
Good luck with your future aspects "Blaze", you will be better off finding better "deals" with others.

Ya know, I had just decided Wild Yoats was no longer for me. That was until the slam above. I'm glad I know how you feel Johnny. I have obviously made the right decision.

i am not at a full understanding about the wildyotes club or the going's on at their meetings.so i can not speculate on whats been going on for you to drop out of such a good toyota club and have hard feelings that you have towards some of the members.
but i would like to say i made a 1200 or so mile drive from south east texas with my buddy and no ideal who i could wheel with.and a ran into a bunch of the members fueling up,and without a second thaught i was asked to tag along.i had a great weekend and got onto some good trials.and i will be back to this site from time to time and when i can i will make more of the wildyotes runs in the future.
so in ending i would like to give a big thanks to the guys from wildyotes, yall's friend from texas.thanks Bill...
