Hey guys, I have an 83 short box with a 4" leaf spring lift. I snapped my frame in a coupple of places and am replacing the whole thing. In doing so I am going to drop my spring hangers down about 3 inches. Just wondering if I should use a dropped draglink or what? Cant really afford the crossover kit. I currently do not have bumpsteer and dont wish to have it either. Any one with info?

You could flip the ball on the draglink or build a dropped one. But you need crossover... so start saving your pennies. ;)

You could try a dropped drag link, but I highly recommend saving up for crossover. I only have about 5.5" lift and I frequently have problems with my steering.

Don't sound so sad about it. It's one of the best things you can spend your money on. The first time you slide off your line and the front axle slams into something, you'll be very happy your tie rod is where it is.
I've personally watched quite a few factory toy and jeep tie-rods get bent. Oddly enough I've never hit mine:
