Removing 3.0 heads help

I need to remove my heads does anybody know of anywhere on the web or something else that is somewhat of a step by step tear down to do this? Thanks for your help.

Very nice sd1, Thanks a bunch....by the way have you figured out your problem yet? I know for a fact now that mine is a burnt valve. Sucks to be me. I hope yours is something simple.

My pleasure I hope it was of some help....I am still in the diagnostic stage of my problem and the knock sensor seems to be it...its probably not even the sensor itself but the cheesy harness that attaches to it ( toyota had a lot of problems with it ) but both are buried in the center of the engine under the lower intake manifold. So while your pulling your heads i'll be pulling my manifolds unless I can find someone to do it for a reasonable price. The funny thing is I can't even find anything in any manuals about this sensor and it controls a key part of the ignition timing...looks like haynes,chilton all dropped the ball on this one....bummer.
