Just a thought, but I sure would try to head out to the Rubi sometime this fall if it can be done.

Any interest?

When you decide the time, post it or let me know. If possible, when you come through Winnemucca, I'll join in. Definately plan it before the big snows though. This "Sierra Cement" is nothing like the champagne powder of the rocky's.

I would love too! The 4.3 is getting started this weekend, so... We will see...

I've got school in September for 6 weeks, so if its during that time you will have to count me out. And depending on if Fergusor is taking the old lady I may beable to do a ride along if my truck ins't running....

I'm curious,

Is the 'Con passable in the winter, or how late in the fall/early in the spring?

Man, I really want to go... We'll see how I fair on my work and THE ENGINE I NEED before..... I would kill you all with the smoke she's blowing. hack! hack! 270,000 miles, what do you expect!

Johnny,

You could drop in a 6cyl ISB, and those are supposed to smoke. As far as the 230k, that would just about be broke in. Quite a few have logged over a millon miles.

Oh, for those that are uninformed Cummins make the ISB :D
