Broke Neck

Just found this site ... lot better desinged then the offroad.com one ....

Im from Norfolk VA ... I have a '89 4Runner
At this very moment getting a 22RE put in
The last one had 279,000, And stopped going with a broken cam, spun bearing, and a broke connecting rod ... ALL AT ONCE ... ?
Believe it or not I was just driving down the road when that happnend. I have 1986 Turbo Coupe leather seats, power lumbar/bolster and recline for the back of your knees. Have Autometer Ultra Lite Water Temp ... Oil Pressure ... Fuel Level ... Air Fuel Ratio ... Custom fiberglassed my Dash to fit in 5" Speedometer and 5" Tach in Dash. Also have my front seats from my Formula in the back instead of my bench seat ... it took a little fabrication as did the other seats ... but I didnt have to worry about wiring like with the TC Seats.

Now I bought a 22RE out of a '88 Celica and went ahead and replaced all seals, timing chain, put in a TRD Stage 2 Cam and upgraded my rocker arms, got new main bearings.

Now that my truck is in the shop, I took all my interior out. And took out the crappy rubber matting .... I wanna spray the interior floor with LINE-X ... has anyone done this? have pics? Its about $650 from the LINE-X in N.C. but can get the kit and do it my self with the roll on alot cheaper. Any advice?

welcome!

now, about the line X. that seems like a pretty fair price, but it is cheaper to just go ahead a Herc the inside yourself. either way you go, be prepaired for more heat build up inside if your roof is on. if you do go ahead and do it yourself, MAKE SURE TO DO THE NESCESSARY PREP WORK! i have seen quite a few people do it, and then have it peel off in just a few weeks. either way it does look good, at least in a jeep (arent to many yotas around here). it makes clean up a breeze!
