I am looking for info on Chevy rear springs on my 92 Toy with IFS. I am looking for a soft 2 to 3 inch lift. I have the springs and hangers but I am confused on shackel set up. Do I need to do a double shackel or can I used a longer single shackel for a moderate lift. If I go single shackel how long should it be? Anyone still have IFS out there?

most I've seen with a long single shackle from the stock location are about 9 to 10 inches

to keep the rear axle in stock location the front mount goes 11 in forward and 4 inches back..this is for use with out the double shackle set up..then just run longer shackles..If you want double shackle set up keep the current rear spring mount in its orignial spot then build the shackles from there..wich is I think 3-1/2 inches back then you shackle from there...The write up in the above post is a good one...
