Any of you Utah guys know who own the brown Toyota Bundera, that runs around the West Jordan and Taylorsville area? It has a ARB snorkle on it and looks like 33" tires. Here is a pic of what a Bundera is for those that do not know...

It almost looks like a Bronco II. What years did they import it here, and to what states? Do you have any specs on it? Solid axle? Thats a neat little rig. Know of any for sale?

As far as I know they never did import them to the U.S., They are a soild axle coil spring set-up. They had an option for 5.29 gears from the factory. I know they used a front High pinion carrier same as the Landcruiser. the rear axle is offset so it would be a perfesct swap for Samuri.

The one you are refering to isn't a true Bundera it is a 85' BJ70 with a 3B Deisel and H55f five-speed. Imported from Canada by a freind and customer of mine. He has installed the Safari Snorkel, Marks Turbo kit, and Marks 4wd Low-range gear kit as well as a rear ARB. Let me know if you have any other questions... :D

They actually had the standard Cruiser 3rds and Leaf sprung until the newer models, his is factory sprung under with an OME lift kit and 3.73 gears. The newer ones did come with a locker option as well as coil sprung alot like a 4runner, front diffs also changed to the 8". They are available in the 73 series, 75 truck, 78 troopy, etc... Really cool trucks and stout as hell... :D
