i have an 85 longbed reg cab. i have the 4 inch spring in the rear with a 1.5 inch
shackle..My shackle sits straight up and down. Does not lean one way or the
other, Is this normal or what? And i am thinking about the chevy springs in
the rear. Whats a good combo for the rear if i was to go that route.
Thanks
Joel

If those 4" springs are new it is normal, after they settle in, the shackle will angle back.

Go chevy's, the ride is better, and you get the flex as an added bonus.:D

If they haven't settled yet then you should cut them off and move then up a little bit. If it's straight up and down move your shackle hanger forward about an inch or so that will give you a better shackle angle and really give your springs some range of movement (flex)!
