efi swap ?????

Ok i just picked up a doner 4runner i want to say its a 87 i have a 85 truck
going to take the efi out and put it into mine. SOOOOO i want to know
does the fuse block and all that crap have to come out and get swapped??
Iam hoping that this is not going to be to painfull. I have the complete
4runner so this shouldnt be to bad right??:( :(

I would take it all out and swap the whole wiring harness....everything you can swap swap. Its an easy swap (once your done you will see) Even if it takes a few days it is well worth it....trust me I just got back from Moab and in areas I would stall out I can just drive with out having to worrie about it stalling out anymore......Let me know when your going to do it!!! and Good Luck!

I would have to agree with Dig Daddy, I removed the whole harness out of my 83 and put in the 85. Even with the diff generation truck, most of the plugs still pluged right in. Best mod I have ever done to my truck. And once you do it you will see and be very pleased with the results. Good luck.
