Howdy folks!!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to all for all the great folks that attended the Yotafari 2003!

Please watch for a complete write up soon on the main site that will include all the details : Cool new people we met, Trail Runs, Statistics, Lucky Winners of the giveway items, and Land Clean Up that was done to clean the pig pen that was apparently left from people the week before!!!!

Watch for it soon!

BTW, Out of the 49 folks that signed up on the board, 36 Rigs were there!

Hey all, it was a great one day! Unfortunatly, I broke my right front half shaft on Double Whammy. I checked around Moab, and as expected, nobody in Moab works on Toyotas, nor has parts for them. So, I decided to head back home and call it the weekend.

However, with time on my hands over the weekend, I made a 4minute and 50 second video of the Yotafari 2003 Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim trail.

Check out my website:

and click ont he Video link to see the video.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say we had an awsome time at Yotafari. The trails were good. The people were great. And the weather was perfect. I can't wait to see all of the pictures and video.

Thanks Again,

When I got home, I quickly pulled out the spare hub and stuffed it in my trip bag. As for getting spare parts, I really need to figure out if we are going to do about the IFS. There are a few people out there, Off-Road Solutions, CVunlimited, that have worked on making the CV axles stronger. So, I'm working on finding replacement parts for the front axles, as well as getting Warn's hub fuse. Hopefully this type of setup will prevent any future breakage.

I really enjoyed wheeling with you guys, and next time I will have spares......

Next time, I will take more footage. Even if I break on the 1st day, I'll hang aruond for the next days run and grab some more carnage and puckerup angles.

I would like to thank Johnny for stopping to see if needed help
on the way home when my brothers jeep lost his belt. It was more help thenI got when his jeep broke on lower hellderado
I would also like to thank the white toyota with the tan soft top form colorado who was on lower hellderado for stopping and helping me and my family when I got a flat on the way back to town to buy parts for my brothers jeep, that I had fix by myself. on the trail by myself because every one left us to due upper.

thanks,Josh and family

Josh,
I was the guy in the white 4-runner (not the one with the tan top, that is Jerry) that was in front of you guys on lower. I stopped and radioed back a few times to see if you guys where ok. I asked how things where going before I jumped into upper, and was told that you guys had a broken ball joint. Sorry bro I should have ran back to help you guys out, I never heard anyone trying to call us on the CB for help. That sucks you had to fix it on your own.......

Sorry about that too. We were on the trail with ya, but don't have a cb to communicate. Next thing to buy before wheeling a new c.b.. that way we can communicate with eveyone and make sure no one is left behind like that..... Sorry again!

Thanks for the reply I tried the cb but maybe mine didn't work
either. I know it was a jeep but my brother wanted to come.
The only thing that sucked is when I got the flat on the way to
get parts kelly had the spare and I was out of range of the cb
I think, maybe the toy that passed me wasn't part of the club
but other than that I had a great time. see ya next year.
:D

Struff like that happens, I didn't think it was a big deal that he had a Jeep. Sorry you had to deal with all that crap by yourself, next year we will do a cb check to make sure that everyone's is working.

I would have to agree with everyone that it was a blast! I was so worried about breaking, and suprisingly I didn't. Not even a bent driveline this year!
