THE RITE WAY TO RELEASE CONE WASHERS SAYS MY TOYOTA "DEALER MANUAL"TAKE A CENTER PUNCH AND FIND THE LITTLE SLIT 'GAP 'SPLIT WATEVER PUT THE POINT OF THE PUNCH IN THE SPLIT AND SMACK IT A FEW TIMES W/ A HAMMER YOU WILL SEE THE CONE WASHER EITHER COME LOOS OR POP UP OUT SOME. I KNOW IT BEATS THE HELL OUT OF DEFORMING YOURE LOCKOUT HUB BODY TRYING TO RELEASE THE CONE WASHERS

What part of Ohio are you from? I'm in Cincinnati.
Is this a question or just a statement? :confused: Get yourself a brass drift and take the unscrew the nuts but leave them on the studs. Whack on the end of the studs with a hammer using the brass drift and they will pop out.

im in athens obout 2.5 hours east of cinci. and to be more clearer you us a steal punch like you use to center punch a hole youre going to drill . and you take the nut off the stud and the lock washer off the stud also so that their is only the stud and cone washer.then you have a clear shot rite at the split in the cone washers
