I am attempting to replace my front oil seal and do not have access to a compressor, so i can't use impact wrenches. Anyone have a secret to getting the center crank pulley bolt out. I cannot get it loose. Thanx

careful but- put a breaker bar on the bolt with a pipe on it so that it is up against the frame rail so that when you turn the key to the start position the engine spins and the crank bolt doesnt. it will spin loose. shut the truck off right away. and make sure you have the bar on the correct frame rail or you will be tightening the bolt which would hopefully only cause the bar to pop off the bolt.

another way is to get another crank pully weld a 1"bar about 3 feet long unbolt the good crank pully and bolt the other pully w/ the bar welded on it then using the bar rotate the engine up until the bar is against the frame then just use a breaker bar and loosen the crank bolt
