My new project.

Just wanted to post up a pic of the truck I just picked up for my new truggy project. It's an 88 X-cab. 22re with 129,000 on it. I picked the truck up for $1,000. My plans are simple, first I need to sell my current toy pickup to fund this new project. Then the trucks cab will be cut off from the firewall back and tubed out. Leaf spring front suspension and 1/4 elip rear. Front axle will be a 3500 lb. Dana 44 and the rear is a FF Dana 60. Both came out of a '72 IH 1 ton truck. The truck will ride on some 38.5 x 14.5 SX's and also feature full hydro steering. Anyways I will post more on this project as it comes. Here's the pic of the truck I just got today.

Do you know about the meetings we have every month in the Springs?? If you ever make it up to the Springs we meet the first Thur. of every month @ Fargos. Start time is around 7:00 pm
