I could have sworn I saw someone with a u-bolt flip kit for sale a while back with new shock mounts integrated into them, but I can't seem to find 'em anywhere! Any one know??

cant answer your question, but you can use 1/2 ton chevy pick up rear w shaped plates and u-bolts, about $3 at the local yard. all you'd need to do is weld in a lower shock mount. make sure you get the thinker u-bolts, 9/16 or something like that.

I just used a 3/8" plate and welded a aftermarket shock mount bolt and it works great. But I was into it about the cost of a kit. I wanted to run bigger bolts though.

I used upper spring plates from a ranger, same spring width and tube width. I drilled my plates out and used 5/8 inch u-bolts. I fabricated my shock mounts from mounts cut off the rear diff of a cherrokee

I'm going to whip up a set this week. Should be pretty cheap to make, u-bolts front and rear were just under $60 and I can use some scrap steel that's been lying around. It looked like that guy used 1/4 plate but I've also seen some using 3/8.

the u bolt flip kit u are looking for is the one from bfeoffroad.com they
have that kit on here u saw. Just got mine yesterday from them. The only
problem i noticed is that if u dont have the wider rear axle the u bolts are
too big cause the girth of the axles is different. hope that helps

 All Pro sells the whole kit for $50. Looks like you've already wasted your time. Somethings aren't worth building IMO.

I'm using 5/8 U-bolts and I get my scrap steel for free so they'll be overbuilt but that's just about perfect. Besides, I like to build stuff for the truck anyway, rather than buy
