The next tank of gas, back and forth to work, (87 octane) I got 20.37 MPG, but I had my foot in the secondary often, and was tacking the engine up to 4 & 5 grand. This next tank I will drive more like I usually drive, and I predict I will get at least 21 MPG. Since I was averaging between 18 and 19 MPG before adding the second filter modification, this would net a possible 2 MPG increase in fuel mileage. I am very happy with this improvement! I'll know more towards the end of next week when I check the mileage on this tank. I'll report the results for those interested."

I did this mod to my 81 Toyota a week ago and have seen quite an improvement in power. Particularly when I'm in 5th gear. Before the mod I didn't have any power in 5th, now I can actually pick up speed and hold it while in 5th.

The only question I have regarding this mod is I was wondering if anyone else had any problems with it starting an oil leak? Since the 1st test run after doing this my truck has started leaking oil again. I had a problem with it leaking oil a while back but fixed it, now after the mod I'm having the problem again. Does anyone know why this would be and if there should be any concern?

I haven't had any trouble with that, clean al the oil up and find where it is commingfrom, you might jst have a poor sealing gasket
