2wd to 4wd

i've been looking at a few 4 runners to buy and make into crawlers and im wondering how hard it is to convert a 2wd runner to a 4wd. i want to use a toy front axle but how do i go about getting the t-case onto the tranny. can you take the tail housing off and use a regular t-case, or are the trannys comletely different?

You need a 4WD tranny and t-case, cross member, drive shafts, a SAS kit ...

The 2WD and 4WD IFS boxes are similar. The 4WD is bigger and beefier.
