I've had some luck with TG parts in the past, so when it came time to do my crawler box and dual adapter I figured I would save myself a few bucks and go TG again since they hadn't let me down in the past, but apparently that was a mistake.
Something inside the second gear reduction box is hitting, I've had the thing apart twice trying to figure it out and haven't been able to see anything that looks like it is hitting. I clearanced everything the directions said to, including the shift rails, which is where it really sounds like it is coming from. The knocking is slow, even on the freeway you can count the clicks. Also, it only does it in 2wd, if that provides any clues for you that it didn't for me.
Also, the thing pops out of 4wd ALL the time. I got their upgraded detent springs which are supposed to fix the problem, but they didn't. Now it's super hard to shift, and still pops out of gear endlessly.
If any of you have gone through this or have any suggestions I will gladly listen. Like I said, so far I haven't had problems with TG, so I am hoping this is just me being stupid and overlooking something easy.
