1985 Toyota 4X4 fuel injected 22RE. My truck dies when I come to a stop. My RPM's drop and I hear the fuel open circuit relay "clicking" and then she dies. she runs fine when I'm on the gas. The relay checks out fine, as does the ECU and air-flowmeter. Must be the fuel pump I thought, so I replaced it..no change. All wire connections seem to be fine, what did I miss?

Thanks I'll give it a try!!! A small detail I forgot to mention in the origanal post was that the engine was re-built top to bottom, including new injectors, filters etc. etc. just a couple of months ago. That's why I was looking for the problem out side of the engine itself.
I'll run if you keep giving it gas? There's an electric anti-diesel solenoid that cuts fuel to the idle circuit to keep it from dieseling (duh!) when you shut it off. It might be gummed up or check the wiring to it---------Hans
this was posted by oatmeal for a guy (yotasoldier) who had a similar problem.
you might try to ask oatmeal about it. but that does sound like your problem.
