Anyone use a 4 link for a solid axle swap? I just bought a '93 p/u, and I have a 1982 front axle dying to attach itself to my new project. I was just wondering how well it works, what you used, and if it is worth the extra time and money over a leaf sprung setup. I have access to some 18" coilovers for about $500, and would be able to fabricate everything else besides heim joints. Post pics! Thanks, Clint.

We just finsihed a 4link swap on my bosses 85 4runner using ors coilover kit but he said its cheaper to do a leaf sprung sas i think he said the ors kit was 2500 vs 1400 for a leaf sprung kit

Leafsprings are cheaper and easier.. But links are worth the money and the headache. Trust me.

Oh and you can do a 4-link up front but it is easier to do a 3 link IMHO. Well for me it was since i was aiming to have a low frame height. If your taller a 4 link would be just as easy.
