I was wheelin this weekend an b 4 I got into the deep stuff (was still in 2wd)
the right side droped down into a dich....pretty hard.
now somthing is bent, as it pushed the right front wheel back almost to the rear of the fender.....the drivers side has 4" of clearance, the passanger I can barely get my hand between the tire and lower rear part of the fender ....also the right wheel points right when the left side is giong straight :frown:
I think I gotta swap the lower cntl arm/ball joints/tie rod....
comments??? any thing else I should look at/consider??
Thanks
Greg

i'd look closely at the tie rod, upper and lower control arms, steering knuckle, spindle, frame, check for bent rim, and anything else in the area. but that is all i'd worry about

Well out of 53 views only 1 person responded to your thread with advice and that was to check everything. I can't help but think that's because the others thought the samething sub posted.I could be wrong, I have been before.

well you asked for help and in order to better assist you. pics of the parts would help . go ahead an throw parts at it ,but if you threw some pics up the plural "parts" might just be singular and save you a whole shit load of money.
raptorman,
if i come off as a prick its because i am. quit being puuusssy and you might understand that.

i would just use the little incident as an excuse to finally do the SAS...as thats what we all do anyway...run it till it breaks...then do the SAS...just my 2 cents...

I called around to the local junkyards and they wanted to charge me for my IFS junk, I ended up putting it in the back of the truck late at night and dropping it off at the front doorstep of the closest one.
If stock hubs are getting $100 a pair used then I'm in business dude, pm me the address and I'll send you as many as you want if you'll pay shipping.

Sorry for the late response. Sounds like the frame is bent. I have bent 2 that same way. Toyota frames are weak behind the a arms and it is common for them to crease underneith the cab mount. You can do a SAS if you want but the frame is still bent. I would get it straighened or semi-straight and plate the frame in that area. Frame swaps are no easy task.

took the front wells off the front and just behind the upper cntl arm the frame appears to be a tad bent...a buddy of mine knwos a guy who can straighten it for me...he has one of the opld style machines but is reasonably priced....
