Chances are you will have clearance/rubbing issues no matter what year/model.
The front tires are likely to hit the firewall area of the wheel well under compression, for starters.

My friend had a 94 4-runner with a 4 inch lift and 35's. The torsion bars were cranked all the way up. The tires would hit the fenders from time to time.

Maybe with some fender trimming. Like Fourwd1 said you may have issues with firewall clearance.

at stock hight you can fit 33 if you cut the front valence....so 4 inches of lift and only 2 more inches of tire shouldnt be a problem

808derek I have a question for you. I can see in my mind an old toyota sitting stock with tires over flowing out of it's wheel wells, and where as I can see them "fitting" in there I can't see the truck turning or leaving the pavement. So my question is HOW does this 33 12 50 "fit"? I could be wrong (and I have been in the past) but I just don't think that your idea of "fitting" and the tire stores idea are the same. Please tell me how this works?

You know it's funny, because thats exactly what I was picturing. But I'll give this to it, that little blue Toyota looks sweet with those big giant beastie tires on it! Yeah It looks like it could do some carnage alright.

all the trucks on the no white fenders site are running 35's on there toys , and there all serious rockcrawlers with enough fender triming and cab clearencing i think they should fit fine

I looked at that site and it was full of bad ass riggs but I didn't see any of them, that I would think, were only running a 4" suspension lift with 35's. I didn't even see any that I would think had less then 5" and a small BL and most of the trucks looked like they had more then 35's. 35's arn't really looked at as big tire's any more. Yeah 6 years ago sure but now days 35's are the small guy's.
personaly I don't like to go bigger then 35's and don't see the need but there are so many riggs running 37's and up out there now days that 35's are starting to take a seat next to 33's. (both great tire sizes in my eyes.)
