i removed the cruise control switched on my dash in my 84 4runner and replaced the whoel with a volt meter my question is what controls the trottle on the mottoer for the cruise control and where is it at... basicly i want to completly remove that whole sytem so i have less wires and less things on the motor to worry about

The CC controls the throttle via a vacum motor.
Look for a canister with a vacum line on one side and a cable on the other leading up to the same place the accel pedal's cable goes to.

well now that i know its vaccum controled i think i might have an idea but ill try to get pics tomorrow so i know for sure

heres the pic i saw that the vaccum line is connected to the tollet ball on the left side so i took a pic of it to any info is great as far as removing it completly will it mess with the speedometter at all

All it does is move the throttle instead of your foot doing it via the pedal.
Disconnecting it, either the vac line, cable, or elec conn, or all, will disable it, but have no effect on anything else.

just remember to plug the vac hose
