I have a 94 runner with some rear butt sag. Can I take some 5inch Schedule 80 and weld it inside some 6inch sch 80 at 1.5" or so to level the rig out maybe lift it an inch? its just a pavement pounder, dont need anything special, and $80 for the spacers online is nuts.

OD dia. of 5" Sch. 80 = 5.56"
OD dia. of 6" Sch. 80 = 6.62" ID = 5.76"

should be able to sleeve the 5" inside of the 6", but have it stick out a bit so it locks the coil in
???

Why don't you just try it and report back wether it works or not?

nothing wrong with a little hillbilly engineering. if you can get scrap pipe for cheep and the diameters work with the springs i'd do it.

i've got a friend who put air bag overloads inside his coils to fix his sag
