how much is this worth

I got a guy wanting to buy my v6 3.0 engine. It has 80,000 miles on it.. How much is this thing worth you think. A salvage yard that i know of is selling for 1500 with exchange. This guy is offering me $500.. I feel like he is trying to jew me. He said that he can get for $700. I feel like thats a lie. What you think? Also he will be pulling the motor himself.

idk if this helps but i got my 22r with god knows how meny miles on it for 500. it was just the engine too so im sure u could get more

I have to agree.

If the guy is pulling it himself and just leaving with a long block motor then that's not a bad price. Don't let him leave with anything else though.

Try for $600 it's 1 more for you and 1 less for him. Make sure he doen't walk away with your tools.

ok guys.. he came and i helped him pull the motor being the nice guy that i am. it was just him by himself.. but ne ways....i ended up selling just the motor and cutting the harnesses (salvage yard style) for $600.00.. Now i got a little more to sell if anybody wants this stuff let me know...

-4" ifs pro comp lift
-1"-5" lift shackles
-downey torsion bars
-brand new 8" detroit locker with 5.29 Yukon gears installed. (broke in) used old pumkin though. master bearing kit was installed as well....
-7.5 ifs detroit tru-track locker with 4.10 stock gears..Locker barely used.
-7.5 Yugon gear and master install set still new in the box.. didn't get to install it...
-chrome roll bar..
-chrome brush guard welded onto stock bumber
-rear chrome bumper
-and other things you might think of like...
-5spd tranny w/transfer case
shifter, guage cluster (the newer styler),shifter,(4) 31" all terran tires w/ chrom tailgunner rims, (4) 36x13.50x15 irocks w/extreem semi-beedlock black rims, (2) 37x13x15 boggers used as spare tires w/o rims, bench set with slit tear on driver side from getting into truck, and ect. Just ask and i might have it.. Im in Dallas Tx so think about shipping cost.
