I'm building a 22r and wanted to see what some of you guys would use as your carburetor/intake manifold.

I like the factory carb, some people like the Weber's.

Well I have a dual weber setup but it's a bit much and I'm looking to get something a bit better then factory, but don't know what.

I have 3 factory carbs and all of them suck they don't idle and run really rich.....hard to start when warmed up....and whats with all the stinking vac lines going to them

never tried a Weber (gonna sell all my carb'ed trucks instead)

Make it fuel injected.
Check e-bay I was looking for parts just the other day and noticed a lot of EFI parts and even a ECM for it. All used and at a fair price im sure. Most of the stuff expires on the 12th so you better check it out soon if you want to.
No I am not selling any of this stuff and I don't know the sellers or what condition these parts are in. I was just looking for a TPS, but then I checked the codes and found that the O2 needed some loving. Oh and just so you know I get great MPG close to 30mpg (W/31 10.5) in town and it doen't die and always starts.
I love toyota for making it so easy to check the codes and work on.

F'n A. I agree fuel infected IS the way to go....What I did'nt mention when saying I'm selling my carb'ed trucks is I gat a new project on the go anyway
Picked up a 88 4Runner (200 bux) and am looking forward to making this my trail truck. I love the fact it takes 5 people and the cap comes off for hauling shit. The Runner has some rust and 240tho miles but it's in pretty good shape....I jus put all new brake lines in it (eliminate the load level crap)
should pass inspection an I'm readt to go nuts on the mods

Opps I hijacked the thread.....sorry
