92 22re p/u running Issue

I have a 1992 22re p/u I have had it about 2 years now... about 1 1/2 of those years I have had a running condition.. At about half to 3/4 throttle my truck sputters and breaks up badly. I have recently rebuild the enitre engine becuase of a rod knock and The problem is still there... I have changed the coil thinking it wasnt getting enough spark... still had the issuse. Changed the fuel filter still there. I dont want to keep throwing parts at it and my dlc connector is inop so i cant get a scan tool to observe data... I was thinking the ignitior for the coil or maybe a tps sensor? What do you think? Injectors? If you could assist me It would be great... It will countiue to run terrible if i hold it at half to 3/4 throttle.. if i put the pedal to the floor it runs fine.It almost feels like power band in a 2 stroke cycle... no power then all the sudden power. Sounds like a TPS to me. What is the timing set at? TPS would explain why it runs good at idle and wide open throttle. TPS is only really effective at everything inbetween idle and wide open. Check the timing first, but it definantly sounds like a TPS. Maybe out of adjustment.
