put new shackels, new fuel pump, timing chain, brakes, muffler.......

also picked up a 85 yota 4x4, 3 inch lift, dual exhaust, tube bumper, 33 x 12.5 dunlops on 12 inch rims for 800$

i just looked the 85 over to make sure the fame wont messed up, and saw it has 2 inch blocks under the springs, and the 3 inch body lift.....

I may have jumped the gun here Larry.
It looks to me that your 85 is the later half. IFS 85 toyota. oh well Larry looks like you will be pumping money in to a SAS after all. $$$$$$$
Still a good looking toy none the less. Oh and by the way just how long are the shackles on old red and white.

A bit off the subject here but I keep noticing that my plastic toyota marker on the sides are diff'. like on both of Larrys truck's it says

TOYOTA
EFI or 4X4 at any rate it only say's two things

On my toy it reads

TOYOTA
4X4
EFI (3 things) Why 3 and not 2


The EFI is black with white letter's.
Anyone know the diff'? this may help as well the DMV say's 85 but the door say's 84 it's injected no carb here and a soild axle. was this toyotas why of boosting that they were now EFI?

any ideas on a flatbed? im thinking about just putting angle iron on each side and run some 2 x 6 boards accross it, and weld a tube bumper on the back and put some tube rails on the sides, any good/easy ideas on how to make it look/perform better let me know. any taillight ideas??
