87 22r into a 84 runner?

Just got a great 84 4runner with a 22r turning over at 202,000mi. On the stand I have a rebuilt 87 22r with the crawler cam and fresh turned crank. Will the 87 22r have any problems fitting into the 84 4runner? Both had a G52 attached to them so no difference there. Lazer block is taller I think?

Any advice or suggestions? Maybe better to rebuild the 84 22r....??

It will work just fine.

Just remember to buy engine parts for an 87, not an 84. :grin:
