i have a 93 pickup on 35's with a 350 chevy small block in it right now, and i just got a 91 from a friend, and i was wondering if anyone has ever put a 12V 5.9L Cummins engine into one of these toys before. I plan in doing it just for off road purposes right now, but i will want to be able to make it street legal someday, like the chevota...what would you call a cummins toy anyways, you cant call it a cumyota.

I think a 5.9 liter cummins would be way to long to fit under hood of a Toyota.

Those motors are great but they are long and heavy.
My father had a hell of a time with his 2500 dodge just trying to turn around on some of the logging roads at our hunting lease with that heavy thing. I don't know the weight difference between the cummins and the powerstroke but the Ford seems to do better offroad, although fuel mileage was a let down.

i have a 86 toyota with a 6.5l chevy diesel in it and it bairly fits i had to cut the whole front end apart and also the fire wall had to be hacked. i dont think you will have enought room for that motor. you have two more cylinders than me there aint now way to make that thing fit without haching the fire wall.
