As you guys probably all know. The first year v6 tacoma's had a weak main bearing in 5th gear. With my truck a couple miles shy of 200,000, this is the ONLY problem with the entire truck. Well i was wondering if anyone knew of any factory recalls on this problem or any way of fixing it short of replacing the entire transmission.

I would talk to a tranny shop, or try to find a good used transmission to put in.

Great, something else I get to fix in about 5000 miles.
