Take the brake lines off, unbolt master cylinder fromt he brake booster. Bench bleed the new master cylinder, bolt it to the brake booster. Then attach the brake lines to the new master cylinder. Bleed entire brake system.

Then drink 2 beers.

Yeah, that's all there is to it.

But when you bleed the whole system remember the proper order -

LR
RR
RF
LF
LSPV

I knew I forgot something. You need to have "installation lubrication". This can be found at any grocery store/convenience store, it is usually sold as Beer. If you do not have enough for your friends then there could be problems.

don't panic..
follow the directions that come with then new master cylinder for bench bleeding. it usualy goes like this- install supplied temporary plastic plugs in ports and fill with brake fluid. then using a dowel rod or equivenent slowly push and release the piston (less than 1 inch) and repeat until no air comes out the fill ports inside the resivour. bolt it to the booster, attatch the brake lines, and get some 10 year old to push the brake pedal while you bleed the brakes.

very important because they won't drink all the beer

Yup it should come with instructions on how to bench bleed. Not nearly as scary as it sounds.

or you could get a vacuum bleeder and keep all the beer to yourself. it doesn't need any. and the bleeding process goes faster so you have more time to enjoy it.
