Is it just me or does anyone else think the asking price of the 4runner is way too much?

Yes...but in Hawaii they have a different set of values...I think that it is horrid, but it probably is the a bad mo-fo over there.

I was thinking the same thing! They look like they'd pop right off the bead if you bumbed them at all and they're probably only 32 inches tall all spred out like that! That is also a lot more lift than I'd ever want. Is it just me or does it look like if the front has much flex the tires would rub on the shocks?

Yeah I think*if* the front actually flexed it would hit the shocks. The brakeline going inbetween the two shocks is interesting too. I am sure it looks cool flexing on the curb at the mall though.

Yea That Shit Was Gay!!!! I Showed A Few Guys In My Shop And They All Agree That The 4runner Needs To Be Blown Up, In The Mall While "flexing" Out On The Curb. With That Owner In It.

how embarassing.... by the way:
we dont all be talking the shizzlle by the wizzle ova hea'! Just thought you guys would like to know. Most my friends that have a SAS run 4-5" max lift. We love to talk trash about those lame trucks like that all the time, kinda funny actually, the guy was defending the fact that it IS "mall rated" too. now why in the F*** would you put a locker on something that will never see a dirt road even?!?! :spanka:
Oh well. Win some, lose some, too bad all that money was spent doing a pointless lift.
And yes, 15,000 firm is retarded, even from HI, BUT, you still get those dipshirts that will fork it over using daddys money.
And yes, they will roll it, and they will break parts.
and on and on and on
Aloha,
John

your welcome anytime man
but my SAS is still in progress and a ways to go yet,
so far I have 84 front and rear axles w/ 4.56, and a truck
way way way to go, rebuild the axles (seals bearings etc.) POR-15 all over frame and axles (Christmas) and full interior & exterior paint (a lot like the paint on my sig, but blue hammerite & white krylon trim; wal mart bling bling) a few other mods, (at least 1 locker) and so on.
BUT, i wheel my DD pretty hard and we make a run out to Mana Road now and then with a few offshoot trails here and there.
AS for an invite: here it is bro, c'mon over.
We dont wheel as hard as those guy from rubicon, prolly not even close, but we have a heck of a lot of fun. And isnt thats what its all about?
Aloha,
John

Hey atleast he cut the pink shock boots off. That's funny, people in my town that talk like that don't drive 4x4s they drive old taxicabs repainted in some horrible color with those stupid 24" wheels that keep spinning when they stop. I can picture one now hat on backwards, wifebeater Tshirt, Mr. T starter kit, and their pants hanging down below their ass. Now I know why some animals eat thier young.

Sorry, no 4 x 4 specialtys, just stock stuff you could rent anywhere, Jeeps, H2s junk like that, BUT, if you got the x-tra insurance....well, you know the deal...
Im over on Hilo side of the Big Island (Hawaii), im guessing the timeshare is in Kona? Regardless, PM me, we will figure something out.

Johnny

Haha, at the dealership I work at we sold a 91 extended cab with 135000 on it for $10,000 last week. That truck looks like about as much fun as front blocks...
