bouncing

i recently bought a 97 4runner and it already has alittle lift (not sure of much) anyways daily drivine the front end bounces after every little bump in the road i crawled under neath and noticed the sway bar wasnt connected so i was wondering if thats why it bouncing or is it becuase the shocks are bad??? im not sure any help would be great

Could be the shocks are bad, or whatever lift is installed is too stiff.
