I have been wanting to dump my 3.0 in my 93 4Runner and put in a 3.4 that I got out of a 98 5 years ago but I need someone who has done this to help. Or if you are a Mechanic here in mesa AZ I can pay you a reasonable amount if you want to do it for me.
I have the engine and bell housing to bolt up to my 5 speed, I just need to find a donor vehicle to get an ecu and harness from a standard.
Also come new year I will be moving to Peoria area, if anyones up that way.
Thanks.

Sorry, can't help. I'm a little too far away, plus i've never done that swap before. I just wanted to chime in and say that if/when you do get around to doing this swap post up some pics and description of how it went. There are probably a lot of other folks out there that are also interested in the same thing.

I have seen pics and posts of others succesfully doing the swap. I just dont have the time or patience anymore. Too much wrenching in the past.
Any one out there with skills and time contact me.

You can do it yourself. It is not too tough. The link above is my post of doing it just this past December.
It is like a totally diferent machine now. I really like it and feel it was really worth the effort.
