upgrading the carb

I've got a 1983 toyota thats sitting on a four inch lift right now. I've been focusing on upgrading the 22r engine with a 22R Weber 32/36 Carburetor Kit w/K&N Air Filter & 22R Downdraft Manifoldngine from LCEngineering. I've been out of the loop on wheeling due to being in the military, but I wanted a somewhat modded truck when I get back to it. So any suggestions on better products or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a good start. I would run it like that for a while and see how you like it. If you need more power you could get a header, and maybe a cam. regearing to 4:88's will put the gearing back to stock with 33" tires so it will feel like you have a bunch more power.

Is LCEngineering a good place for engine upgrades or is there somewhere better?
