It would probably be a good idea. They are cheap and easy to install.

Will i need a new 3rd member gasket or can i use that silicone gasket stuff.
and what kind of gear oil should i use, it has 5.29 gears and welded spider gears, the gears are yukon, also how much should i use. these are new gears, is there anything i should do before i drive the truck.

Use silicone... lots of it. Use regular gear oil. Fill it until it comes out the fill hole. Chang it after 500 miles and be easy on it at first.

Since you are going to buy gear oil anyway you might as well change the oil in the tranny and transfer case to. I use the lucas stuff, I swear buy the engine oil treatment so the gear oil can't be that bad, just pricey.

well i just put it back in and drove like 15 feet in my drive way, i must say i am kinda disapointed, i can barley tell a difference between the 4.37s and the 5.29s, but i guess i cant relly compare cause i have not took this rig offroad yet, but still happy, can sqreech the tires with my 20r now :redspotda

I don't know what to tell you, when I went from 4.11 to 4.88 with 35's it felt like a whole new truck but I drove it everyday. I wish I would have went with 5.29's but I'll wait untill I get the 22r stroker in the truck and see if that helps with the highway speeds before I regear everything again.
