I got a 80 pickup 4x4 pickup, with a 20R and a 4 speed tranny, it has 5.29 gears and an aussie locker in the front, the rear end is welded, I was thinking of going with 38 12.50 Tsl Swampers, but do you think it would be worth the extra money to get 37 13.00 TSL Boggers................ i want to get the best 4x4 tire, i do trails and mud and stuff like that.
or would it be better to go with 35 inch boggers.

BOGGERS BLOW :thumbdown

Get a set of 38 12.50 TSL SX's after i got mine 5 of my friends go them and we have never been happyer, Tough tire bad ass on rocks trails and mud. 10 ply side walls deep lugs all the way down the sidewalls. Boggers are only good if you are goin fwd. once u try to back up u may as well have drag slicks. IMHO

The only 10plys are the.....

36x12.50-16LT

36x12.50-16.5LT

38x12.50-16.5LT

They are good, but they will ride rough and wear like sh#t on a daily driver. For a daily driver I would look towards BFG mud terrains, or Goodyear MTR's.

boggers suck ass....i had 35s on my 4runner....death wobble..shakes...holy balls i wouldnt even drive that thing on the freeway over 55 mph...got some mtr's....whoooole different story....nice smooth ride...75mph felt smooth as silk...even with a spool in the rear...way big difference. i run 37" iroks on my new crawler and even those have a smoother ride than boggers...and they wheel better too i think...boggers are for 2 things and 2 things only....mud boggin...and looks....and thats all i have to say about that....

:redspotda For B.C. wheeling I would get the TSL's, or Irocks, save your money, the sx's are way more cash and the boggers suck. For what type of terrain we have here in B.C. I us TSL,s and they are awsome and stick with a 36" tires, yo :pimpflash u don't really need 38 with a toy.

ltb are crappy bias ply if you want to jar your spine buy those, it you aren't going on pavement boggers are the best mud tire but they wear really fast on pavement because they use a soft rubber compound
buy bfg, irok or pitbulls

I still have to stand behind the Groundhawg radials. I've had swampers on several different vehicles and although they are great mud tires they're also very loud, wear fast, and ride like shiat. I have not used radial swampers they could be different. I run 36x14.50x15 Groundhawgs with 30,000 miles on my truck and they still look great. In the south Alabama clay I go where I want to go with no problems, and the only time I have problem backing up is in two wheel drive. It's a yota they don't have to backup, they just turn around and do it again.

I knew a guy who had a set of 35x14.5 boggers. He'd let them down to about 4psi and his Toyota would go anywhere. He'd go all sorts of places that guys with the 37x13's didn't go. I think they're really good in muddy areas. I just wish they were softer.

that is the same size tire I have on my 80 Yota and they are awesome. But this is on a trail rig and never see's pavement. As far as off roading with them...there is nothing better.
