How hard is it to install a starter on a 22re and is there anything else I need to purchase to install with the starter?

All you need is a new starter. It is basically pretty easy, just two bolts to take it off, and put the new one back in. The hard part is there is not much space to work with, so small hands would be a plus. You may need lots of extensions for your socket wrench too.

alls you need is a #14 mm socket and ratchet with on egood xtension to pull the two bolts off the starter and a 13 mm wrench to pull the battery cable off
and dont forget to unhook the battery cause fires are bad :thumbdown

yea its very easy...i did it on my 22RE in like 15 min. just need the starter and a 14mm and a 13mm...i believe...but yea dissconect the battery first. once you do that and think it was fairly easy...do it to a 3.0....haha...now thats a bitch...but yea you can do the 22RE from the wheel well and underneath...might help to take the tire off for more room.
