This is my first time tearing my front end down but I've done it on a buddy's IFS down to the CV. My question is when I get to the birfield, can I slide the inners out just enough (without breaking down the birfield) to get the diff out.

I'm wanting to weld my front end up for now until I can get a Detroit or ARB and new gears. Just want to know if a full tear down is necessary. I've got the rear done but I need some more forward momentum. Thanks in advance

But do I have to dissasemble the Birfields?

Budget is why I'm welding. I love to do it in one sweep but I'm gonna bust the stockers first.

You dont have to disassemble the birfs, just pull them out.
