Electric fuel pump problems

Well my cruiser is acting up yet again..The fuel pump went out and I put an electric one on..and I think its getting to much fuel..it pumps 34 gallons an hour..And when I attempt to drive it, it blows black smoke and shoots flames..at an idle it runs fine, but in gear is when it does that. So my thought is lean out the carb and maybe adjust the timming..What are some other thoughts on the subject?

I still say the same thing as in the other thread "what the hell is this" If you dont have the exact fuel pump that toyota makes for it. it wont work (at least mine didn't). as for the flames, thats just too cool and I would not change a thing.
