The U4x4C along with the U4WDA teamed up with the FS to build some fencing around a camping site this last Saturday. It was a great time had by all who were involved. More on the subject can be found here on other forums: RME (http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?p=339538#post339538) , U4X4C (http://www.utah4x4club.com/index.php?showtopic=1288&pid=12650&st=20&#entry12650) UOFC (http://www.utahoffroad.com/forum/forum_pos...1551&PN=1&TPN=1) .
We'll (U4WDA) be heading back up at the end of the month (28-29) to camp/wheel/ and help the FS out some more. The lean-to style fending on the upper half of the Forest Lake Trail will be relocated onto the exsisting trail, and the trail moved to the exsisting bypass. That way, trucks won't slide into the fence under wet conditions and take it out, like what happens every year. Some of the Rangers will be staying over night with us in camp, so this is a good time to rub shoulders and chew the fat for awhile with the guys we need to be best friends with. ;) I'll post more as the event gets closer. We'd love everyone's support on this!
