Is anybody using an in-line fuel pressure regulator?
I currently have over 70 psi of fuel pressure causing the old toy (1988 RE) to run like crap (..barely runs at all, actually).
A new fuel pressure regulator costs abou$160. I would rather use a universal one like this with a guage..

However, i beleive the stock regulator threads into the fuel rail. What can I do? I suppose that if the old regulator is essentially doing nothing, I can run the old regulator in line with the new one. Any thoughts?
