Difference in reg. and ext. cab springs?

I was trying to find a spring for my buddies 3rd gen reg cab and the guy at the junkyard said there was a difference between the ext cab and reg cab truck springs, i think he's full of it but want to check first before i go ahead and get one of them. Also isn't the two wheel drive springs more arched than the 4wd springs?

what about the 2wd springs having more arch is this true?

could be because 2wds are spring under in the rear i think

but as for extra cab and std, there is no difference
