HAs anyone put coil springs on their IFS? If so what did you use?
I have a 88 P/U that is really bouncy and needs the BJ dones ASAP. But while I ripping I was wondering if there is a spring I can install for some more firmness.

Bouncy means that you need shocks. You can get stronger tortion(sp?) bars or just crank them up, or you can go with a set up like the Total Chaos system that uses coilovers. I have never seen coils put in a stock 80s IFS rig without major modification.

I would think it would be almost impossible to do coil springs on your IFS because of the axle. On the other hand you could probly fab some mounts and use coilovers, just make sure you're out of the axles way.
