Auto to 5spd swap

Hey Everyone,
I am sort of new to this whole toyota 4x4 thing, but i am really into it and i have a bit of a problem. I recently picked up a 1987 4x4 pickup 22re with an auto trnasmission. the engine, transmission, and possibly tranfer case are shot due to the neglect and punishment of the previous owner. i got a spare truck, also a 1987 4x4 but it is a 22r with a 5spd and the body is ruined, so i want to put that engine, transmission and transfer case into my truck with the good body and put the fuel injection on it. if anyone can help me with any information about this swap mostly information about the computer for the automatic and what i would have to do to get rid of it. like i said, i am new to this, so any info would be a big help. thanks a lot in advance.

You will need to pull all the fuel injection components and exhaust components off of the fuel injected engine and visa-versa with the 22R and put all the fuel injection components onto the 22R longblock. In those years everything was interchangeable, there is no difference beteween a 22R/22RE longblock with the exception of the cam driven fuel pump on the passenger side front of the head (which a 22RE doesn't use, buy a blockoff plate) The distributor from the 22R is also different from the 22RE, so use the fuel injected distributer. The computer will need to be replaced with an 87 22RE stick shift but they are pretty easy to find in a junkyard. You might need to use the transmission crossmember and driveshaft off of the stick shift truck as I am not sure if the auto one is the same.The clutch master cyl off the 22R truck will need to be swapped into the auto truck, you might need to drill and cut. The clutch and brake pedal out of the 22R truck will also need to be swapped into the 22RE truck, the auto brake pedal is a lot wider. Other than that, you could probably do it in a weekend.
