20r head to 22r

i have a 1987 22r block . can anyone tell me exactly all the details and machine work specs ?
or write ups with links ?

why don't you just get an 84 or below block? one of my buddies has a 20R/22R motor with weber 32/36 and loves it (he doesn't wheel). In 84.5 or something like that they changed deck height and single/double roller timing chains or something like that ...It just seems simpler to get an older block.

with that block you will have to machine so much off the head it will be junk you have to have to pre 84 block. That swap does make a lot of power, my 82 had it for 6 months till I blew a Piston,(and no not in Detroit Like magic Johnson)
