-1981 Toyota pickup SR5
-22R with weber carb, long tubular header, 2.25" exhaust (rebuilt by a shop in the 90s)
-Tranny is a rebuilt 5 speed from marlin crawler, less than 1000 miles on it ($800)
-Gusseted front axle, new seals, new trunion bearings, new wheel bearings, FJ40 vented brake conversion with V6 calipers, aussie locker, 5.29 yukon gears (installed at a shop), and one second generation bobby lonfield birf (7300 lb ones)
-Rear axle has a lock right and 5.29 gears (again yukon, pro installed)
-wheels are 15x9 black beadlocks with 1/4 inch 16 bolt lock rings, 2" backspace
-Tires are 70% 35/12.5 MTRs
-Stering is marlin's hi-ster (billet)
-has a kenwood cd player and components in a box
-cobra CB radio and firestick antenna with PA
-Customized door hinges make removing doors almost as easy as a jeep
-Comes with a nice pair of black tube doors
-Lift is 6", with chevy rears and 93 2wd toyota rears up front (and other springs in the pack)
-shocks are bilstein 5125s, through the bed in the back, through the fenders in the front
-driveshafts are professionally done, 7" splines w/spicer joint in front, rear is re-tubed only
- has a radiator from a 3.0 V6 truck
- new water pump and radiator hoses, alternator, regulator, recent battery, new heater core, recent dist. cap, rotor, wires, plugs, ect.

The suspension will articluate 37" with tires at street pressure. It gets 16 MPG in the city, and it gets 20 on the freeway. Before I got beadlocks I ran more pressure in the tires and I got 25mpg (I am NOT BSing you). truck, engine, and t-case have 240k on them. Everything else is less than a year old. I cleaned up those crappy looking front spring hangars with 1/4" plate... And it has the tube bumper on the front now (you can see it in the last pic). This truck would need a cat to pass smog. It passed in portland, then I modified the exhaust and took it out, and I live in a rural area with no tag requirements. And It will go 70 without problems. It is well mannered on the street. I DD it right now. You can seriously let go of the steering wheel at 70 and it goes straight. You can steer it with one finger.

I bought all the parts for this rig new, and I have between 7 and 8k into it. DO NOT post and say you could build it for less, I KNOW YOU COULD.

Price is $4500 OBO. Truck is in southern oregon, and I am willing to drive for gas money and food. Maybe 500 miles. feel free to e-mail with questions... SRJOEYDET AT YAHOO.COM

EDIT: My truck didn't leak all that crap on the drop pan. i rebuilt the knuckles recently, and I did it over that.

If buyer wants, I will include toyota service manual for 1981 pickup. Covers everything with pics (tranny/engine rebuilds, elecrical). FSMs are why hayne's is fire kindling.
