OK i need some ideas on how to keep water out of the distributer some type of cover or boot anyone have any ideas would be gratefully helpful

check the cap, I believe there is a small hole on the underside somewhere, just silicone that and then add a bead of silicone to the cap and seal, re-apply the cap to the distributer. that should work.

Just found a distributor boot from the Yota Yard $32 shipped to my door,thanks for the info anyway.

DO NOT USE SILICONE!!!!!!! hard to clean up. I would suggest a thick greese. works great..

krylon electrical sealer for the connections works good so I am told
